As someone who works in the Search Engine Optimization field, I often find myself educating our clients about the method to our madness. SEO isn't easy - when Google evaluates a web page it looks at over 200 different signals. Everyone is talking healthcare. It’s the hot topic of the season. Whichever side of the debate you are on, there are lessons we can learn as business people from this very important debate.
Listen to your constituents. The last thing you need is a town hall scene like the angry constituents we see today on TV. That’s why it is important to listen to your customers and be attentive to their concerns. A happy customer is one that feels their needs are being addressed.

Everyone is saying that contributions to charities and non-profits are down. I think that even though times are a little tough, now is the time when we should come together and help those less fortunate – especially when it comes to children. Being a father of one energetic child and one on the way, I completely understand the pain and the tragedy it must be to have a sick child. No parent wants to think about that possibility. Well there is something we can do.
