QR codes are slowly starting to pop up in more places than before. These little codes (that look like weird mazes) are wonderful for marketers because they can a) be targeted b) include specialized and cool content and c) be tracked. What's not to love?

Microsoft has created a website to encourage people to ditch IE6 in favor of upgrading to a better Internet experience. Now most web designers and web developers don’t see eye-to-eye with Microsoft on everything they do, but I appreciate them making a push to help people see the need to upgrade.

As some of you have seen, the Red Cross had an accidental "rogue Tweet" that was dispersed across the Twitterverse last night. Although it was a bit comical and the matter has since been resolved, it got us thinking as to what companies should do to prevent this from happening and what to do if an inappropriate Tweet is sent.

As someone who works in the Search Engine Optimization field, I often find myself educating our clients about the method to our madness. SEO isn't easy - when Google evaluates a web page it looks at over 200 different signals. And since Google likes to keep their algorithm under wraps (it's proprietary, after all), we're mostly able to take educated guesses at which signals are most important.
